Traditional Camp

Traditional Overnight Camp is for entering 5th - 9th graders.

A week at OVY Camp provides your camper with a fun and engaging experience. In a world that continues to grow ever more dependent on technology, the ability to unplug, breath in the air around you, and immerse yourself in nature is more vital than ever before.

Campers spend their time living, learning, and playing with their cabin group, which consists of up to 6 campers, 1 Counselor In Training, and 1 Counselor.

They engage in activities that help build confidence, develop skills, and most importantly, are super fun!

While some activities are scheduled, OVY has special activity blocks called “Camper’s Choice” where campers can choose activities that they really enjoy, while getting to mix it up with other campers outside of their cabin.

Here are just some of the fun things we do to connect with nature, and to each other.

A Day in the Life of a Camper

Other Specialty Activities throughout the week include Beach Day, Fancy Dinner Night, ceremonious opening and closing campfires, and a Polar Bear Plunge.

Camp Check In: Sunday between 1 - 3pm

Camp Check Out: Friday at 10am
